We used different flavors of the Visual Basic programming language for our projects: VBScript in classic ASP web applications, VBA to define Macros in order to implement new features for Microsoft Office and VB.NET for code behind in ASP.NET applications and to create libraries of classes used in the same web applications.

VBScript was used to define classes, which wrapped .NET classes exposed via COM+, in order to use the features in classic ASP web applications. VBA was used to create Excel macros in order to expose some new features to Excel users.

For EurekaStep we used VB.NET for code behind files and for defining libraries of classes.
