Heaven Solutions is thrilled to announce that we have been honored with the “CSR Initiative of the Year” award at the 2024 PIN Awards.
This recognition celebrates our unwavering commitment to educational and community development through our robust Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs.
A Beacon of Innovation and Community Development
Our journey began 7 years ago, when Cristian Micliuc, Heaven Solutions’ CEO and an alumni of “Grigore Moisil” Informatics High School in Iaşi, envisioned a robust platform to nurture the next generation of tech innovators. His trust in the teaching staff’s capabilities and the local youth’s potential led to the establishment of a state-of-the-art robotics lab under the guidance of Professor Mirela Tibu.
This initiative has since launched the CyLiis and Peppers robotics teams into the international spotlight. Not only do these brilliant students shine at local and national levels, but they have also excelled on the global stage.
A Year of Remarkable Achievements
The support from Heaven Solutions has notably propelled the brightest students of Iaşi onto both national and international stages. The primary focus has been the First Tech Challenge (FTC), where our students have continually excelled. Our dedication was seen as the robotics teams, CyLiis, and Peppers qualified among the top 40 teams globally to compete at the “Maryland Tech Invitational” (MTI) organized by Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory. This year, 10 members from these teams will showcase their skills at MTI. This marks a historic moment, as it’s the first time a Romanian school competes with two teams in the same year of this prestigious international competition.
The Peppers team previously secured second place in the Motivate section of the First Tech Challenge Championship in Houston, Texas. Adding to these commendable achievements, two members of the robotic teams have recently been awarded the Third Prize in the “Robotics and Intelligent Machines” section at the global ISEF competition in Los Angeles.
Investing in the Future
Heaven Solutions remains committed to fostering education and innovation. Our support extends beyond the robotics lab, as we actively contribute to local initiatives such as Casa Share and the Educational Center Casa Share, Rotary Academica Scholarships, and ProRuralis Scholarships.
