The 20 & Beyond Hackathon is more than just a competition – it’s a celebration of Heaven Solutions’ 20 years of innovation and a bold step toward the future.

 

Hosted in Iasi, Romania, by Heaven Solutions, this hackathon is a celebration of creativity, courage, and community impact. We invite innovative and bold minds to come together and shape ideas that push beyond boundaries, showing how AI can improve lives today and tomorrow.

 

From smarter healthcare solutions and medical devices to transforming logistics, transportation, smart cities, government services, the rise of intelligent AI agents, and many other domains, participants will have the chance to shape ideas that can truly make an impact.

01.When is the Hackathon held?

  • The event is scheduled for 20-25 October.
  • The Hacking time is scheduled for 22-24 October.
  • On 20 and 25 will be the opening and closing ceremonies.
  • On 22, a Q&A session will be held online with the technical board.
  • The event will be a mix of online and in-person sessions:
  • 20 October – Opening ceremony & 25 October Award ceremony → Onsite (location TBD)
  • 21 Q&A sessions → Online
  • 22-24 October → Hacking time → Onsite FabLab
  • The location of the hackathon will be announced soon. All the updates will be available on this page and also on social media platforms.
  • Yes, attending in person will give you the full hackathon experience. Being on-site allows you to network with like-minded participants, receive hands-on guidance from mentors, and make a stronger impression on the jury.
  • You must register as a team of 2 or 3 people. Spaces are limited to a maximum of 31 participants, so spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Registration is open between September 4 – October 3 via our Google Form. Simply sign up with your teammate(s) and secure your spot.
  • The theme is “Beyond Boundaries: Life Improved by AI.” Teams are challenged to design AI-powered solutions that can improve everyday life in areas such as healthcare, logistics, transportation, smart cities, government services, AI agents, and beyond.
  • First Place – 10k ron
  • Second Place – 5k ron
  • Third Place – 3k ron
  • Projects will be judged by a panel of international experts and alumni from top schools such as Stanford, Oxford, and Queen’s University. Evaluation will focus on creativity, feasibility, impact, and innovation.
  • More details can be found on Participation terms (Reguli de Participare).
  • Participation is free. You only need to bring your creativity, passion, and energy to innovate!
  • No, only one team member needs to submit the registration form on behalf of the team. The form includes separate fields for each participant, and each team should designate a representative to complete the submission.
  • Yes, you should push your code to a public repository. You will retain complete ownership of the code, but the juries should have access to review your work.
  • We’ll have mentors available to help you out. Go look for them whenever you need!
  • Make sure to take a valid ID with you. Also, you will definitely need your laptop, mouse, phone, headphones, chargers and any hardware you need for your project.
